For as long as I can remember, intuition has been part of how I experience the world.
As a child, I would sometimes dream about events before they happened or sense that something was about to unfold before there was any visible reason to expect it. These experiences were vivid, but they were not always easy to explain.
As I grew older, I learnt to suppress this side of myself. I chose a career in engineering, a world shaped by analysis, systems, precision and measurable outcomes. Intuition did not seem to fit comfortably into that structured environment.
Yet it never disappeared.
It continued to surface in quieter ways. I would sense the dynamics between people before they became obvious. I would anticipate how a situation might develop or feel that something required attention before the evidence had fully emerged.
Over time, I realised that intuition was not separate from my analytical mind. It added another layer to it.
Engineering taught me to examine what was visible. Intuition helped me notice what had not yet been expressed.
Today, these two parts of my experience come together through the work I offer at Empowered inSight.
A channeled reading is an intuitive experience that creates space for guidance, reflection and a deeper connection with your own inner wisdom.
People often arrive with specific questions about relationships, work, personal direction, emotional challenges or decisions they are trying to make.
Others do not have one clear question. They may simply feel uncertain, disconnected or aware that something in their life is changing. They are looking for perspective and a safe place in which to explore what may be sitting beneath the surface.
During a reading, I become receptive to impressions that may arise through:
Images or symbols
Emotions and physical sensations
Words, phrases or names
A direct sense of knowing
Patterns connected to the client’s questions
I often describe these impressions as downloads.
For me, they may arrive like scenes from a film. Sometimes I see a symbolic image. Sometimes I feel an emotion strongly. At other times, a message comes through with a clarity that feels different from ordinary thought.
The purpose is not to overwhelm the client with information. It is to help them see their situation from another perspective.
Within my spiritual practice, I connect with the concept of akash.
Akash is a Sanskrit word associated with ether or space, sometimes described as the fifth element. In the way I experience it, akash is not empty space. It is a field of knowledge, memory, possibility and consciousness.
I see it as a space beyond the noise of the conscious mind, where insight may become available when we are still and receptive enough to receive it.
Different spiritual traditions use different language for this experience. Some people refer to God. Others speak of Source, Divine wisdom, guides, ancestors or higher consciousness.
My role is not to impose a spiritual belief on anyone. It is to create a respectful space in which each client can connect with the language and meaning that feels authentic to them.
This work forms part of the broader Individual inSight journey, which supports people seeking greater clarity, healing, self discovery and alignment.
Every channeled reading is grounded in a set of clear principles.
Energy is personal and sacred.
Before beginning a reading, I ask for permission to connect with the client’s energetic field. I see this in the same way as entering someone’s home. Even when the intention is caring, entering without consent would be intrusive.
Permission establishes respect and reminds the client that the reading is a collaborative process. They are not surrendering their authority. They are choosing to enter a space of exploration.
A reading requires me to step away from my own opinions, insecurities, projections and expectations.
My responsibility is not to judge the client’s choices or tell them what their life should look like. It is to hold a clear and compassionate space for what emerges.
People often carry enough self judgement already. A reading should not add another layer of pressure. It should support the person in feeling seen while still honouring their freedom and responsibility.
I do not work with harmful energy, manipulation, black magic or practices intended to control another person.
My readings are grounded in prayer, protection, guidance, integrity and connection. Before a session, I pray and intentionally clear the space of any energy, frequency or influence that is not welcome.
For me, spiritual openness must always be accompanied by discernment and clear energetic boundaries.
The reading begins with the client.
Their questions and intentions provide the initial focus. At times, additional information may emerge that appears connected to something they need to recognise or consider.
When this happens, I share it carefully. I do not present it as an instruction or an absolute truth.
The role of a reading is not to take control of the client’s life. It is to illuminate possibilities.
One of the most important things to understand is that I do not tell people that their future is fixed.
A channeled reading is not a declaration of what must happen.
It may reveal possible outcomes, emotional patterns, energetic themes or directions that appear available in the present moment. But the future continues to be shaped by choice.
People change their minds. Circumstances shift. Relationships evolve. New information becomes available. A decision made today may alter the direction of tomorrow.
Free will remains central.
This is why I see intuitive guidance as empowering rather than controlling. A reading may help you recognise what you have been avoiding, understand why a situation feels significant or see possibilities that were difficult to notice before.
What you do with that insight remains your choice.
Everyone experiences intuition differently.
Some people receive information visually. Others feel it in the body, hear it internally or simply know.
The intuitive senses may include:
Clairvoyance, clear seeing through images, colours, symbols or scenes
Clairsentience, clear feeling through emotions or physical sensations
Claircognizance, clear knowing without a visible chain of reasoning
Clairaudience, clear hearing through an internal word, phrase or message
For me, several of these channels may work together during a reading.
A symbolic image may appear, followed by an emotion or a direct insight. The meaning is explored within the context of the client’s question rather than interpreted through a rigid formula.
Those who want to understand and strengthen their own intuitive language can explore the Embodied Intuition pathway.
Tarot can serve as a visual medium within a channeled reading.
I do not approach tarot as an exercise in memorising fixed meanings. Each card contains symbols, archetypes, emotions and visual details that may help open the intuitive channel.
A particular image may stand out. A figure’s expression may feel significant. The movement within the card may connect with something the client has shared.
Sometimes the cards create the opening, and the reading continues beyond them.
The cards do not control the answer. They provide a visual language through which deeper insight may be explored.
I do not believe intuition belongs only to a select group of people.
Everyone has the capacity to become more aware of their inner guidance. Like a muscle, intuition can become stronger through practice.
This may involve slowing down, paying attention to the body, recording dreams, noticing repeated symbols, reflecting on emotional responses and creating moments of silence.
Intuitive development also requires integrity.
Guidance should empower people to make conscious choices. It should never be used to manipulate, frighten, control or create dependency.
My intention is not to become the authority over someone else’s life. It is to help them reconnect with their own authority.
A channeled reading can offer guidance, reflection and emotional insight.
It does not replace medical, psychological, legal, financial or other qualified professional advice.
A reading may help you explore how you feel about a decision. It cannot diagnose a medical condition, provide legal direction or replace professional financial planning.
Ethical intuitive work respects these boundaries.
We live in a world filled with information.
Answers are constantly available through search engines, social media, artificial intelligence, experts and endless streams of advice.
Yet more information does not always create clarity.
Sometimes clarity comes when we become quiet enough to hear what is already moving within us.
A channeled reading offers a space for that listening.
It is not about handing your future to someone else. It is an invitation to explore what you may already sense, what you have not yet allowed yourself to acknowledge and what possibilities may become visible when the noise begins to settle.
Guidance can illuminate the path.
Free will determines how you walk it.

The most important step is cultivating self-awareness. Without awareness, we repeat patterns unconsciously and remain stuck in cycles of behavior. With awareness, we gain the power to choose differently, to grow consciously, and to align with our true values. Tools like the Enneagram accelerate this process by revealing core motivations, blind spots, and growth paths. Coaching then provides the support and accountability to integrate these insights into daily life.
The Enneagram of Personality is a typology that describes nine interconnected personality types, each with distinct motivations, fears, and growth paths.
The nine points are arranged in a geometric figure called the Enneagram, symbolizing the dynamic relationships between types.
It is both a map of human behavior and a tool for transformation, helping individuals understand unconscious patterns and move toward integration.
Ancient Symbolism: The nine-pointed figure has appeared in mystical traditions, including early Christian mysticism and Sufi teachings, as a symbol of divine order and inner harmony.
Oscar Ichazo (1950s–60s): A Bolivian philosopher and spiritual teacher, Ichazo synthesized ancient wisdom with modern psychology, founding the Arica School. He introduced the Enneagram as a system for inner work and consciousness transformation.
Claudio Naranjo (1970s): A Chilean psychiatrist, Naranjo integrated Ichazo’s teachings with Western psychology, refining the Enneagram into the personality typology widely used today
Modern Development: Teachers like Don Richard Riso and Russ Hudson further popularized the Enneagram, creating accessible frameworks and tests (such as the RHETI®) for personal and professional use.
While some scholars critique the Enneagram as pseudoscientific, recent studies explore its validity through psychological research and neuroscience.
Brain imaging studies suggest type-specific patterns of cognition and emotional processing.
It is valued in organizational psychology for its ability to uncover motivations and blind spots, making it richer than frameworks like Myers-Briggs or DISC.
Self-Development: Helps individuals understand their core fears, desires, and growth paths.
Leadership & Teams: Used to improve communication, empathy, and performance in organizations.
Therapy & Coaching: Offers a lens for emotional healing and behavioral change.
Spiritual Growth: Continues to be used in contemplative traditions as a pathway to inner transformation.

lasting transformation.
